Bob Dylan is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on March 19, 1962 by Columbia Records. Produced by Columbia's legendary talent scout John H. The Best of Bob Dylan, Vol. 2 also takes advantage of a movie soundtrack, beginning with Dylan's Oscar-winning "Things Have Changed" from Wonder Boys. And it is keyed to Dylan's German tour of May 2000, with the tour's dates listed on a sticker on the album cover.

On Bob Dylan, The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan, and The Times They Are A-Changin’, he knocked out Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, the New Lost City Ramblers, et al. Another Side of Bob Dylan was a moving and brilliant transitional album, perhaps the most personal work he’s ever done. He managed at least a draw or a TKO over the Beatles and the Stones with Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde on Blonde. John Wesley Harding was another fine transitional LP.
