13 is the thirteenth solo album from American musician Brian Setzer. It was released in 2006 on Surfdog Records, and contained the Japanese hit single "Back Streets Of Tokyo". Setzer had originally intended for the album to have one direction, or sound, but after thinking about how The Beatles' albums were so diverse, he decided to include many different styles on the album.

That didn't quite happen, as he returned repeatedly to the more familiar territory, but on 13 - so named because it's his 13th studio album of new material - Setzer once again branches out, and this time he's got the balance just right

Brian Setzer - 13 Brian Setzer is an amazing guitar player who has always played what he wanted, whether it was popular or not - from rockabilly to big-band. But some fans have wanted one album that offered a mixture of his talents. This is it. 13 (named for the number of songs on the record) covers a range of styles, including chunky rock on Drugs & Alcohol (Bullet Holes) fueled by a repeated lick while fingerpicked rockabilly chords cover the rest of the ground. The solo is big and as rock and roll as you could ask. If you’ve ever questioned Setzer’s chops, put on Take a Chance on Love. It’s an excuse to play guitar.

Keep Your Lovin' Strong. The Brian Setzer Orchestra. Stray Cats Ball, No Dogs Allowed. It's My Turn, Now (Independent Version). Boccigalupe & The Badboys.

Contains all 13 songs specially mastered for superior sound quality. Gatefold Vinyl LP (33-1/3rpm). Includes Full Album on CD. Deluxe 12-Page-Booklet With Lyrics And Photos (12″ x 12″). Three 8″ x 10″ Glossy Prints.
