Shop Vinyl and CDs and complete your collection. Interesting thing about this lp is that it only used samples from it's own label, i think they done a pretty good job, seeing as it was probably there first (and probably only attempt at jungle) when consider some of the other rubbish put out by more established labels. Another thing it looks bad 5 tracks per side, but the sound quality is pretty damn good, all the tracks are pretty short, some not even 4 minutes. Reply Notify me 3 Helpful.

Nevertheless this digital-only mini-riddim-album is worth listening into definitely. The riddim has been built by Romanian reggae & dancehall producer Lion Riddims, who actually is indeed more a riddim-builder than a producer as he offers the riddims he creates for sale and/or licensing. The very well arranged rootsy ‘Lion On The Rise’-riddim, with its horn accents and playful guitar-lick first backs Jamaican Simple Rattigan, whose great voice is used for a tribute to Reggae Dub Music and then Dark Angel . Mowty Mahlyka from West London speaks out against Dem Badmind with his rockstone voice and the smooth singing and laidback-deejaying.

Artist: Jungle Album: Jungle Genre: Neo-soul, Funk, Disco Label: XL Recordings Released: 2014 Quality: FLAC (tracks) Tracklist: The Heat (03:16). Throughout their first album, they favor the bantamweight soul reminiscent of early '80s British acts like Imagination, Fun Boy Three, I-Level and Fine Young Cannibals, to name but a few. But it’s the group’s sense of simple, dance-focused visuals that have attained a certain level of buzz. Peel back those effective visuals and their sonic palette is rather confectionary: pliant bass, simple 4/4 beats, spindling guitar.
