Crash is the second studio album by American rock group Dave Matthews Band, released on April 30, 1996. By March 16, 2000, the album had sold seven million copies, and was certified 7 platinum by the RIAA. This is currently Dave Matthews Band's best-selling album. Recording of the album began in October 1995, and ended in January 1996. There were only four known songs from the Crash sessions that "didn't make it to the final cu. However, none of the titles are known.

It was composed and arranged by Jonathan Coulton and was performed by Ellen McLain, while portraying the Portal character GLaDOS. The song originated in a meeting between two Valve Corporation developers and Coulton about him writing a song for the company, which Coulton accepted as he was a fan of Valve's Half-Life series.
