Mirna’s fling is a one man project of singer-songwriter, t Arjan Hoekstra (The Good Hand, Alvenrad). His first album Become came out late 2005. The album is recorded in the basement of a big abandoned building in which he lived with some friends those days. It is recorded with very few equipment and therefore sounding lo-fi. After the succes of Become Arjan started working on the Bow to None album.

Mirna’s fling is a one man project of singer-songwriter, t Arjan Hoekstra. After playing in several bands that didn’t work out, he decided to bring out his own solo material. Still written and recorded all by himself, except one song he recorded together with Astrid van der Veen and one song that includes vocals of her sister Linda van der Veen, he now used better recording equipment with which he made a multi-tracked album that sounds almost like a band. The third CD, "For the Love of Me", is a dark melancholic singer-songwriter album again written, played, recorded and produced by himself. Many times Mirna's Fling uses a live band for performing.

Mirna's Fling moves to Minstrel Music. With an air of melancholy, but also with great confidence Trollmusic parts business ways with MIRNA’S FLING. ngwriter project of Arjan Hoekstra will release its upcoming album The Secrets Of The Trees on Minstrel Music, the label which has released all three albums of Arjan’s rock band The Good Hand. Both the artist and the label agreed on this step for pragmatic reasons only. So, the band doesn’t get dropped from Trollmusic, but rather passed on to Minstrel Music, in the most respectful way among friends and music enthusiasts.
