Vanity 6 is the 1982 self-titled debut and only studio album by American R&B/Pop vocal girl group Vanity 6 released on Warner Bros. The group had been created by Prince as an outlet for his prolific song writing.

Deep Six is a compilation album featuring six Seattle-based alternative rock bands and was released in 1986. It was the very first release by C/Z Records with a catalogue number of CZ01 for 2,000 copies. The album was reissued as a joint C/Z Records/A&M Records release on April 5, 1994. The album was compiled by Seattle locals Chris Hanzsek and Tina Casale of CZ Records to showcase what was going on in the Seattle rock community at this time by drawing on the talents of six like-minded bands

But there are exceptions, especially towards the second half of the album. Der tobende Luftkampf offers an amazingly amateurish psychobilly cover of Elvis' Fever, and Die Zwei give us a nice and strange little cover of Christian Anders' original schlager). MDK's song is a pretty hypnotic post-punk ballad (do I detect a reggae touch here?). Another song I'll remember is Borsig's Hiroshima – a simple waltz highlighted by the sarcastic lyrics "Hiroshima, how beautiful it was".
