Born on December 1st, 1950, the son of Lucien Hétu, Daniel Hétu was the keyboard player and singer for the house band at CFTM-TV channel 10 in Montreal during the '70's and '80's, which also had Yves Lagacé as drummer and he also was the conductor for many singers from the province of Quebec.
