Poco - Legend flac album

Poco's biggest-selling album of all time also presented the biggest personnel change at one time for the then-decade-old group, whose lineup had hardly been a model of stability up to that time. Co-founding drummer/singer George Grantham and longtime bassist/singer Timothy B. Schmit were both gone, the latter off to the Eagles.

The album was certified gold, Poco's first album to achieve this distinction in original distribution. Kim Bullard (keyboards) joined the band in December 1978 just as Legend was being released. While "Crazy Love" was riding up the charts, ABC Records was sold to MCA Records. Poco was retained by MCA and the Legend album was reissued on the MCA label

After ABC Records cancelled the release of Poco's planned 13th album The Last Roundup. the three remaining members of the band agreed to take a break. Rusty Young and Paul Cotton formed a new group called the Cotton-Young Band and prepared this album as a duo. However, ABC acquired the album and then decided to continue to use the name "Poco" for the band

Legend" is Poco resurrected. The last of the original line-up broke up after 1977's poorly received "Indian Summer" album. Timothy B. Schmit and George Grantham exited leaving Paul Cotton and Rusty Young to carry on. They took some time off to re-group and re-tool their sound and in 1978 "Legend" gave them the most commercial success they would ever receive.
