A It's A Short Walk From Heaven To Hell 3:20. Producer – Jimmy Bowen, John Schneider. From the MCA LP "Tryin' To Outrun The Wind".
You were God's best creation But I didn't know what I had Till it was too late When a man's gettin' older Seems the young girls get bolder And temptations Are sometimes too great You gave me all kinds of reasons to stay But like the fool that I am I still walked away. And it's a short walk From heaven to hell A few steps from an angel That loved me so well When I left I shook hands With the devil himself And it's a short walk From heaven to hell.
Themes From William Blake's The Marriage Of Heaven And Hell is the fourth studio album by Norwegian experimental collective Ulver. Produced with Kristoffer Rygg, together with Knut Magne Valle and Tore Ylwizaker, it was issued on December 17, 1998 via Jester Records. It is a musical adaptation of William Blake's poem The Marriage of Heaven and Hell.
So by calling ourselves Heaven and Hell, it's revisiting that period. Ward, who performed on the 1980 Heaven and Hell album and the first half of the tour, ultimately declined to be the band's drummer before they recorded, citing musical differences. His departure made way for a reunion of the other Dio-fronted Black Sabbath lineup which included journeyman drummer Vinny Appice. Appice had replaced Ward midway through the original Heaven and Hell tour in 1980, and he remained the Black Sabbath drummer for two years coinciding with Dio's tenure in the band from 1980 to 1982, and again when Dio reunited with the band in 1991 and 1992.
He looked out of place when he walked in I was layin' low with my neon friends He walked right up and asked (hey John) Where are the angels in this bar (bring 'em out) I said apparently you're confused about where you are. Hell this ain't heaven Don't you realize This is where you go After love dies Where there's smoke there's fire It burns an angels wings Hell this ain't heaven It ain't no halo scene
