Pipedream is the first solo album from Lindisfarne singer Alan Hull. The album was first released in 1973 following the breakup of Lindisfarne. It spent three weeks in the UK album chart, peaking at Pipedream was rereleased in 2005 with a number of new bonus tracks to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Hull's death. The cover artwork is based on a painting by René Magritte.

James Alan Hull (20 February 1945 – 17 November 1995) was an English singer-songwriter and founding member of the Tyneside folk rock band Lindisfarne. Hull was born at 68 Sutton's Dwellings, Adelaide Terrace, Benwell, Newcastle Upon Tyne. He began piano lessons at the age of nine, and guitar lessons two years later.
