Hi There : This is BIG COUNTRY - THE CROSSING LP record. Vinyl (3 May 2019) Big Country - The Crossing ( CD 1983 ). £. 5.
Genre: Alternative Rock. Album by Big Country.
Big Country was the former; a terrific band with a strong lead singer/songwriter Stuart Adamson who had tasted some success before as a in the Skids a four piece band that never broke through in America. Fans could be forgiven for being confused as this has been remastered at least FOUR times with different colored covers for each (except in one case), different bonus tracks (in many cases)all of which could lead to confusion. I'm forever grateful for the time and effort that went into creating the music for The Crossing. For the new fan, you've just found Big Country's treasure chest, enjoy! Initially it's the easiest Big Country music to enjoy and understand, although the band has spread out great music throughout the last 30 years for anyone patient enough to find it and appreciate it.

Notes
This differs from another similar release in terms of the disc artwork: this release lacks the stylised atomic pattern around the centre hole. The bottom half of the matrix number has run off the silver, so most of it has been inferred from the portion of the numbers that are visible (and by comparison with the catalog no. and the release from which this has been copied).
