Why was the cruiser traveling unescorted in enemy waters? And, perhaps most amazing of all, how did these 317 men manage to survive? Interweaving the stories of three survivors - the captain, the ship's doctor, and a young marine - journalist Doug Stanton has brought this astonishing human drama to life in a narrative that is at once immediate and timeless.

Part of that has to do with playing in Harm's Way, of course, but he's also found purpose through powerlifting. Pligge's interest in fitness won't come as a shock to anyone who's witnessed a Harm's Way show

In Harm's Way" also proved to a solid vehicle for a young Jerry Goldsmith who was in 1964 just becoming well known. His music for this film ranks among his best efforts. The score is tied together by one of Goldsmith's best (maybe the best) military themes that appears throughout the score but especially in "The Rock," "Battle Theme," "Attack," "Change of Command," and the big end-titles, "First Victory," along with a couple of notable love themes

Talk about Harry James And His Orchestra - Green Onions Part I And II / Love Theme From "In Harm's Way"

Dagdage
I have a white-label Advance Promotion Copy of this 7" in a generic company sleeve (Dot Records). The paper labels cover a solid centre and is date-stamped -4 JUN 1965 in blue ink on the Love Theme side (usually the A:side - as it is on the other Dot Promos I have). Also, the large A is on the Love Theme side (again, usually the A:side). My copy is as mint as you can get. Reading this listing, someone's labelling might be reversed. Yours or mine?
