Buff Whinnie returns for their second album, after releasing the wildly successful eponymous debut album, This album brings Buff Whinnie into a new age with varying genres of musical prowess displayed including, Rap, Folk, and Rock. While the album was received very well by critics, getting a score of 100 on Metacritic, the album failed to financially deliver, which sent several of the members on the verge of bankruptcy, resulting in abuse of drugs by several members, most notably guitarist Anon who died of a Crystal Weed overdose.

The story behind Anon of Buff Winnie and the Christian Templars: Anon was born in the heart of Bosnia in a small village of which the name was lost to time. He grew up on that town, and there he spent his grueling days working in Slavic labor camps for little to no money at all. He went to High School with his buddies Jomes and Arvis which he met in the labor camps, and after finding themselves breaking into a secret lab near their high school, they befriended a giant genetically modified bear. The album wasn't sold as much as their debut album, but once again gained instant success just as they did before. After Tuna Time, the band was swamped with sin. Hookers, drugs, dirty dealings, and plenty of illegal activities plagued each and every member. And eventually in late 2010, member Anon died of a Crystal Marajuana overdose.

Released posthumously after Buff Whinnie's unfortunate death in November of 2017, Freedom Fighters is the eighth studio album by Buff Whinnie and The Christian Templars. The album is a collection of materials recorded before Whinnie's death. As stated in his will, he wished for the recordings to be mixed and released as a studio album which would be heavily centered on the concepts of war, death, and mortality
