The Nico legend was built around her brief flirtation with the Velvet Underground. Yet the ice queen's solo career proved to be every bit as influential and eclectic as the VU's catalogue. Nico recorded her next studio album, Drama of Exile, in 1981. produced by Philippe Quilichini. Mahamad Hadi aka Mad Sheer Khan played oriental rock guitar and wrote all the oriental production. It was a departure from her earlier work with John Cale, featuring a mixture of rock and Middle Eastern arrangements. For this album, in addition to originals like "Genghis Khan" and "Sixty Forty", Nico recorded covers of the Velvet Underground's "I'm Waiting for the Man" and David Bowie's "Heroes".

It is a fake second version of "Drama Of Exile".
The musicians and the tracklist with the timings printed in the cover, are those of the second version of "Drama Of Exile", but in the CD only "Saeta "and" Vegas" are taken from that session (and published also in a single 7"). The other eight tracks are taken from the official first version published by Aura (with timings and musicians consistent with what's on the cover).
This CD was withdrawn and replaced with one entitled "Drama Of Exile - Original Version" featuring the real second recording sessions of "Drama Of Exile.
