Erkin Koray (Turkish pronunciation:, born 24 June 1941) is a Turkish singer-songwriter, guitarist and one of the pioneers of Anatolian rock. Koray has been in the Turkish rock music scene since the late 1950s or early 1960s. He is widely acclaimed as being the first person to ever play rock and roll in Turkey; in 1957, he and his band gained fame by playing covers of Elvis Presley and Fats Domino.

Erkin Koray has been in the Turkish rock music scene since the early 1960s. By the late 1960s, he was already a major figure in Turkish psychedelic music (also called as Anatolian Rock), beginning with his first psychedelic single "Anma Arkadaş" in 1967. In the early 1970s, he formed the group Ter with the former members of Grup Bunalım (also known as Bunalımlar).

Erkin Koray is the first full length album by Turkish rock star Erkin Koray. The album is a collection of singles dating from 1967 - 1973. In 2006 the album was rereleased on CD, with 8 bonus tracks, by World Psychedelia Ltd. 'Çiçek Dagi' (Mountain of Flowers) was originally performed by the Erkin Koray Dörtlüsü Quartet at the Altin Mikrofon (Golden Microphone) contest in 1968, at which, they won fourth place.
