Only one song on the "Das Tor zur Hölle" album is almost entirely black metal one: the second "Im Schloß des finstren Grafen", it's based on the guitar fingerpicking. But this is not to say that it's the best song on the album. The best song is the eighth "Glaubst du an Dämonen?", although its riffs aren't "black metal-ish" at 100 percent. When I first listened to this album, I thought that Dämonenblut play a cover of the song "Lights" by The Sisters of Mercy and started looking for a mention of this post-punk band in the booklet. Didn't find of course. When I refreshed my memory of "Lights", its main riff turned out to be somewhat different than the one used by Dämonenblut. But still sounds like. Anyway, with The Sisters of Mercy or without them, "Glaubst du an Dämonen?" is really strong and suspenseful composition.
