Vital Beast

This is a very good selection of rare Peruvian son, mambo, descarga and chicha style tracks. The sound is also very good, and the vinyl is silent. BUT the quality of the discs is bad: number 1 is slightly warped, and number 2 is substantially warped and the spindle hole is too big (looks like if they drilled 2 holes one next to the other), which causes the record to spin off-centered if you don't place it right in the middle. I don't think this last defect is due to inadequate storing. So instead of 4 stars, I give it 3.

4/26/19 update: I decided to return the defective album and ordered another one. The new records ALSO were slightly warped (both), only much less than the first ones.
