Taking the sound of last year's album "Seq" as a basis, Sergey makes a confident step towards more melancholic and broody music. Slightly floating synth arpeggios, unhurried chimes of metal percussion, scraps of voices in the background can be considered as references either to the classical IDM, or to electronics of the seventies

Midimode, a Russian electronic duo founded in 2009 by Sergey Baranov and Denis Basov, found the way through different approaches in composing and production techniques evolving from years of experience, a good taste in music and the flexibility to make use of both. Since 2017 Sergey Baranov runs Midimode alone.
