It was only his third song and second commercial recording session. In fact, it was the first song recorded by FS for release on the Columbia Records label. Since joining the James band on June 30, 1939, FS had been touring and performing at various East Coast venues. In addition to the studio version on this album (Harry James and His Orchestra featuring Frank Sinatra: The Complete Recordings 1939), an aircheck transcription of a radio broadcast a week earlier, from New York's Roseland Ballroom on August 10, 1939, has survived. This (arguably superior) transcription version of "My Buddy" has been issued on the Hindsight Records CD, All Or Nothing At All, produced by Pete Kline. It was first sung by Al Jolson in 1922. Band personnel for both the studio and aircheck recordings are as follows

It keeps saying that he returns home to find his parents had been killed in the desc. In the game a couple of times. Reactions: Bennick90 and Valarmyr.

To me, it's a wonderful thing in my hand, the miracle of life," he said. And later on when he was about to retire, he asked me, 'Andy, do you sing to your babies?' And I said, 'Well, no. It's your stuff,'" Dr. Andrew-Jaja said. And he said, 'Go ahead, do i. So, I took it over. He passed on the baton to me," he continued. And I took it over and I started to sing to my babies ever since then and I do it every time. Now, four decades later, Dr. Andrew-Jaja has sung his last lullaby at the hospital.

Harry James And His Orchestra 1948-49 is a double album by American trumpeter Harry James with The Harry James Orchestra. The album consists of live radio transcripts recorded during 1948 and 1949 and was released in 1969 by Big Band Landmarks (Volumes X-XI). As bop surpassed swing by the late 1940s, James was surprisingly open to its influence.
