The Hunter is the fifth studio album by American heavy metal band Mastodon. Released through Roadrunner Records on September 26, 2011 in the UK and one day later in the US via Reprise Records The Hunter is their first release with producer Mike Elizondo. In its first week of release in the UK, the album reached number 19 on the UK Albums Chart and position number 10 on the Billboard 200 chart selling over 39,000 copies in the first week

Fiona Hunter's vocals, musicianship and scholarship were a big part of the appeal of Flower and Iron. As you might expect, the album is mostly traditional Scots tunes and songs, with one from Robert Burns (The Weary Pund of Tow), one of Robert Tannahill's (Braes O'Gleniffer), and two contemporary compositions in traditional style. Ewan McVicar's song, "Shift and Spin", is given a delightful treatment by Fiona.

The story line and the bio's for the characters are finished, and currently, work on the Missions (Deliveries) is in progress, along with the battle mechanics and level design, and making sure the game works correctly. All in all, this game is getting done, and the projected release date will be set in Q1 2016.
