The discography of American singer Diana Ross, the former lead singer of The Supremes, consists of 25 studio albums and 115 singles. 27 of her singles reached the Billboard top 40 in the US, 12 of them the Billboard top 10, and six of those reaching number one, placing her in a tie for fifth among the top female solo performers who have reached the top spot there

This self-titled release, issued in February 1976, was Diana Ross' first album since December 1973's Last Time I Saw Him. It followed Ross' starring role in the Berry Gordy-directed Mahogany. That film's theme, a sweeping Gerry Goffin/Michael Masser ballad sung by Ross, topped Billboard's Adult Contemporary and Hot 100 charts; though it appeared on the Mahogany soundtrack, it was also included here and leads a set that's as diverse as Last Time I Saw Him, with a total of nine songs involving 16 songwriters

Diana Ross' first solo album after departing from the Supremes is an outstanding beginning to a successful solo career. Every song, (with the exception of the Velvelettes' hit '66 single "These Things Will Keep Me Loving You" produced by Johnny Bristol), is produced by brilliant husband-wife team Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson.

As a solo artist, Diana Ross is one of the most successful female singers of the rock era. If you factor in her work as the lead singer of the Supremes in the 1960s, she may be the most successful. With her friends Mary Wilson, Florence Ballard, and Barbara Martin, Ross formed the Primettes vocal quartet in 1959. In 1960, they were signed to local Motown Records, changing their name to the Supremes in 1961. Martin then left, and the group continued as a trio. Jazz & Blues, Stolen Moments (April 1993). Motown released a four-CD/cassette box set retrospective, Forever Diana, in October 1993, and the singer published her autobiography in 1994. Take Me Higher followed a year later, and in 1999 she returned with Every Day Is a New Day.

Diana Ross is a 1976 album by Diana Ross for the Motown label, her second self-titled LP (the first was her 1970 debut album, later rereleased as Ain't No Mountain High Enough). It reached in the USA (4 R&B) and sold over 700,000 copies. The album was Ross' biggest-selling album since 1973's Touch Me in the Morning, and the first of Ross' albums since her debut to yield more than four hit singles

Surrender is a 1971 album by Diana Ross. It was her third solo LP for the Motown label Ross' previous album, Everything is Everything, failed to generate interest due to Motown's rush and hurried efforts to further Ross' solo career, and did not chart as highly as expected. Surrender, however, was a commercial and critical success. The album would be Ross' final studio album until the Touch Me in the Morning LP two years later
