Brass Construction is the self-titled debut album by the funk band Brass Construction. It was released in 1975 on United Artists Records. The album went number one on the R&B charts in 1976. The Singles "Changin'" and "Movin'" both reached number one on the Hot Dance Club Play chart in 1976. Movin'" (Randy Muller, Wade Williamston) – 8:39. Peekin'" (Alexander) – 3:55. Changin'" (Muller) – 8:12. Love" (Muller) – 6:35. Talkin'" (Muller) – 4:02. Dance" (Muller) – 9:36

Brass Construction leader Randy Muller took the group in a wider direction on their sophomore effort, Brass Construction 2 issued in December 1976. Their second LP was still funky, horn-punctuated disco; it just wasn't non-stop funky disco as their gold self-titled debut. Adding more Latin/Afro Cuban rhythms, they had a Top 10 R&B hit with the first single "Ha Cha Ch. It also introduced the irving Spice strings, who give the urgent radio-aired "Screwed" a swirling, almost tipsy feel.

Brass Construction was an American funk group formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 1968. They were originally known as Dynamic Soul, and went on to record a string of hit singles and albums through to 1985.
