Luluc (Lou-Luke) are an Australian band, consisting of Zoë Randell and Steve Hassett, currently based in Brooklyn, New York. They are signed to the Sub Pop record label and Mistletone Records (for Aus/NZ) Luluc. Byron Bay Bluesfest, 2015. Background information. Released on 15 July 2014, the album was co-produced by Aaron Dessner of The National, and recorded at his studio in Brooklyn.

Album cover for Passerby. The genre is back in other hands, as an offshoot of al. olk, and we couldn't count the number of duos - like Australians Zoe Randell and Steve Hassett who are Luluc - exploring that acoustic guitar, wintery mood in spare songs of pale melancholy.

Com um violão dedilhado, um baixo bem marcado e discretas guitarras, o indie folk do Luluc mostra como as notas certas no lugar certo conquistam uma dimensão que prescinde de qualquer excesso. A melodia reina com tranquilidade, enriquecida pelo brilhante jogo de vozes – a de Steve às vezes parece desaparecer, tamanho o cuidado com que ele acompanha Zoë.
