A really original and experimental album from The Knife. The highlight is of course the electro masterpiece: Silent Shout. A really depressing and mindblowing album. Take a look at the music videos made for some of the singles (Silent Shout, Marble House et. for even a more haunting experience. I'm really looking forward to the next album, however I doubt we will see a masterpiece like the song Silent Shout again! But we are allowed to wish it can happen :-) Reply Notify me Helpful. From the very first second, I fell in love with this album. The blend of different musical styles is perfect. There are influences from synth, progressive trance, melodic trance, ambient, house etc.

There is no doubt that The Knife could produce an album worthy of comparison to their influences and contemporaries, but for now, as Karin says, it’s one step forward and one step back.
