This is a production of the ''Ruhrtriennale''. Moses sung by Dale Duesing has a rich baritone voice, whilst Andreas Conrad is a powerful tenor, both rise to the demands of the dramatic story. Moses und Aron (English: Moses and Aaron) is a three-act opera by Arnold Schoenberg with the third act unfinished. Christopher Keene, with Richard Cross in the role of Moses and Thomas Young as Aaron, directed by Hans Neugebauer. The Metropolitan Opera did not stage the work until 20 February 1999, under the baton of James Levine with John Tomlinson in his debut role as Moses and Philip Langridge as Aron. 2010: Dale Duesing, Andreas Conrad, Ruhr Triennale conducted by Michael Boder (DVD).

Moses und Aron, known in English as Moses and Aaron, is a 1973 film by the French filmmaking duo of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet based on the unfinished opera of the same title by Arnold Schoenberg.
