SSTGFLS J222557+601148 is a planetary nebula in the constellation Cepheus. Located between 2000 and 3000 parsecs distant from Earth, it was originally classified in 2006 as a supernova remnant. Thought to be the first supernova remnant first detected in the infrared wavelengths, the spectrum and properties of the object did not match up well with that of a typical supernova remnant, and it was reclassified as a planetary nebula in 2010.

SSTGFLS J222557+601148. This is a rather young supernova remnant only observable in infrared. To all appearances not too long ago a star exploded here in a poor copy of a supernova, not with a massive bash but with a gentle cough. The star was lying beyond the galactic plain in a region with very few interstellar dust. Probably it was very poor with heavy elements, causing this unusual weak explosion.

First in is 'Cosmic Connection' from the med project of Jason Campbell SSTGFLS J222557+601148, bringing us some perfectly crumbling and rumbling ANW. Second in, we have a great split between Deaf Ballerina and Gvillotina - two relatively new projects who are making some very big waves lately, a nicely divided and concise wall release with some delicious textures. Thirdly we have a half-split, half-collaboration release between myself and Sophie Bay Threedouble - a half-hour mail collaboration wall coupled alongside two solo walls totalling a similar run-time when.
