It is 22 watts and way too loud for use at home to get any crunchy sounds. As long as I want clean I'm good, but there is no way I could get it quiet enough for your situation, even just clean. I am in a house with a spouse, and a neighbor 50 feet over in another house. To get my crunchy and high gain sounds I have to use pedals, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I do not find it ideal. I have very little flexibility because the amp has to be loud-ish to sound decent, and my volume range is thereby limited significantly  . If your amp/pedalboard has a line out or emulated out you could plug it into something like the Cube, or anything else with a line input, and your volume will be controlled by it instead (tone may be affected).

I downloaded the latest version to use when I encountered problems, but the problems remain. All I want to do is convert my albums to MP3, so I am not familiar with all that a program such as Audacity can do. I am running Windows 7. My only issue is that my MP3 comes in too loud, with distortion due to the high volume.
