I Saw He Saw Esaw Dillinger 45 RPM Vinyl Record 7" LP Reggae Clinch Records. Don't Lie to the Band, released in 1976 on Daffodil, was the second album by the Toronto-based Dillinger. They were basically a hard rock band but with a few extra ambitions. Here the album starts off with two covers, Spooky Tooth's "Two Time Love" and George Harrison's "Taxman", both done in recognizable fashion, although the latter with a funky approach, from Paul Cockburn. The rest are all originals. It's Not Mine" is a ballad, rather nice, but then they get really adventurous on "Munchkin Men"

In 1974, he recorded "Freshly" for Yabby You, which brought him his first hit, and 1975 saw a slew of releases with a variety of producers including Augustus Pablo ("Brace a Boy"), Joseph Hoo Kim ("CB 200"), Winston Holness ("Flat Foot Hustling"), and Coxsone Dodd ("Killer Man Jaro". Albums for Dodd (Ready Natty Dreadie) and Hoo Kim (CB 200) would soon follow. His third album, Clash, a Clement Bushay-produced duel with Trinity, sold poorly, as did a second album produced by Hoo Kim (Bionic Dread). He tried to recapture the success of "Cocaine" in 1979 with the similarly-themed "Marijuana in My Brain".
