Here Comes John Allan Cameron. Here Comes John Allan Cameron is the debut album from Canadian singer/songwriter John Allan Cameron. It was recorded at the RCA recording studios in Montreal, Quebec, using the same studio John Lennon used to record Give Peace A Chance. The album is notable as being the first professional multi-track recording by a Cape Breton artist. The album helped launch Cameron's career abroad, leading to performances at the Newport Folk Festival and Mariposa Folk Festival.

But in 1964, a few months after ordination, Cameron obtained a dispensation from the church to pursue studies in education at St. Francis Xavier University, and eventually a career in music.

The John Allan Cameron Show was a Canadian television variety series produced by CBC Television in Halifax from 1979 to 1980, with repeat episodes airing until 1982. This was the second national television series featuring host John Allan Cameron (1938–2006). His previous series, John Allan Cameron, was broadcast on private network CTV in 1975 and 1976.
