The band mainly consists of vocalist, guitarist & keyboardist Björn Strom and bassist & guitarist Thomas Axelsson. The group was founded under the name of Fingerprints in 1989. Björn Strom’s unique voice made the 1992 album West Of Sunset one of the most successful records of this genre. Sound-wise, the guys on West Of Sunset though orientate more on the American West Coast sound and not on the Swedish AOR traditions. Strom’s vocal performance is incredible, many songs are really standouts like Ocean Boulevard, Giving My Heart Away or West Of Sunset, you won’t stop heard them again and again.

Released on 14 July 2008, it features English remakes of older Basshunter hits, and entered the UK Albums Chart at number one, selling in excess of 329,717 copies in the UK making it Platinum. It is 350,000 copies saled in Europe. In New Zealand, the album peaked at number one in its fifth week, and was certified Platinum and selling over 20,000 copies.
