All We Know Is Falling is the debut studio album by American rock band Paramore, released on July 26, 2005 under the Fueled by Ramen in the United States. The production was led by James Paul Wisner, Mike Green, Nick Trevisick, and Roger Alan Nichols. All songs were written by vocalist Hayley Williams and guitarist Josh Farro. The departure of bassist Jeremy Davis, which occurred a few days after arriving in Orlando, served as the album's main theme.

We Are the Fallen is an American-Irish gothic metal band consisting of former American Idol contestant Carly Smithson, Marty O'Brien and former Evanescence members Ben Moody, John LeCompt and Rocky Gray. The band's name is an allusion to Evanescence's 2003 album Fallen. In a Los Angeles Times interview, co-founder of Evanescence, Ben Moody, said that We Are the Fallen differs from Evanescence in that "everyone is equal" and that it has "more energy than Evanescence could ever muster".

The album’s title and cover are both inspired by the departure of bassist Jeremy Davis shortly before the album’s release. The title, an extension of the lyrics titling the first track All We Know, is representative of how the band will not be the same without Davis. Likewise, the shadow reflected on the red couch is meant to represent Davis leaving. Fortunately, shortly after his departure, the band asked Davis to rejoin the band and he did so gladly. He remained the only long-term member alongside Williams until his departure in 2015, ironically marking the debut’s 10-year anniversary
