Justine Wahlin (pronounced; Wah-Lean) is difficult to categorise. She sits somewhere between alt folk/country and Roots but regularly seems to slip through the cracks to wander on her own sonic adventures, much like an octopus will sneak out to sample tasty morsels from the neighbouring tank but be back before dawn. I love the tone of her effortless voice. great songs and band too! Justine Wahlin. If you like Conversations With Crows, you may also like

Music – Sydney, NSW. .almost like a young peggy lee doing lonely cowgirl songs like listening to an old record but live. zvonko jovicic Justine Wahlin plays songs that are drawn from the world with an insightful look into the human heart. Her long awaited debut Album, released in September this year is a collection of 11 songs that takes you on a ride from alternative folk with intricate and haunting soundscapes to foot stomping country and in parts, references the old world charm of 60’s torch songs. With "The Men" made it to the finals of the Emergenza Festival International band Competition and came 5th out of roughly 400 bands 2013 - Justine released her debut solo EP Conversations with Crows. 6 songs performed with guitar only, a beautifully simple, timeless and haunting collection of original songs with a distinctly folk leaning.

Artist: Justine Wahlin Title Of Album: A Long Way from Home Year Of Release: 2015 Label: Justine Wahlin Genre: Folk, Alt Country Format: Mp3 Flac Quality: 320 kbps Lossless Total. An album of truly original songs, difficult to pigeon hole but as a whole the album leans toward an alternative, ambient col/country feel with a rich lyrical content and beautifully composed soundscapes. Haunting vocals and creative instrumental sections make this a very enjoyable album, with nothing out of place or overdone, soft and yet gutsy, it will keep you listening to its beautiful conclusion.
