Christopher Frederick Andrews (born 15 October 1942) is an English-German singer-songwriter whose musical career started in the late 1950s. Andrews was born in Romford, Essex, England, and by his mid teens had formed his own group, Chris Ravel and the Ravers. On 14 March 1959, he made his British television debut, performing on the Oh, Boy! show. He would later return in April to perform a cover of Cliff Richard's, "Move It".

Yesterday man, Chris Andrews 1965. I'm her yesterday man well my friends that's what I am I'm her yesterday man well my friends that's what I am that's what I am her yesterday man. Please tell me something have you met an angel someone too lovely to live on earth well yesterday I thought I met an angel but she wasn't worth all she seemed to be worth and oh what a fool I have been I was sure taken in. I'm her yesterday man well my friends that's what I am I'm her yesterday man well my friends that's what I am that's what I am her yesterday.

Chris Andrews is probably now best known for his big hit, "Yesterday Man". Many of us will also recall him as the songwriter responsible for many of Sandie Shaw's most successful recordings. Despite those activities, Chris's musical credentials go back much further- into the 1950s and even included an appearance on Jack Good's legendary Rock & Roll TV Show, "Oh Boy!". Chris had become an enthusiast of rock and roll while still in his teens.
