Greatest is a greatest hits compilation album by English new wave/synth-pop band Duran Duran, released in 1998. Greatest is an update of the 1989 tenth anniversary compilation album, Decade. There was also the name, which just rolled off the tongue and was taken right from a character in Barbarella, the cult Jane Fonda sci-fi flick from the late ‘60s, which added to its cool cache.
