Between the Buttons is the fifth British and seventh American studio album by The Rolling Stones, released on 20 January 1967 in the UK and 11 February in the US as the follow-up to Aftermath. It was the beginning of the Stones' brief foray into psychedelia. It is among the band's most musically adventurous works; by the time principal recording occurred on the album, founder Brian Jones had all but abandoned his original role as guitarist, instead playing a wide variety of other instruments.

Buttons And Beaus lyrics. Album: Identity Crisis. Your mama's a whore Your daddy's dead She went and made you a hard road to tread She'll never cheat her She'll never lie Alone at the gravesite In a final goodbye. Money changer, money changer Don't matter who she just gives it to strangers Money changer, money changer She's a taker, and dirty knows no danger

The lyrics are getting better (if more savage), and the arrangements more creative, on brooding near-classics like "All Sold Out," "My Obsession," and "Yesterday's Papers.

British blues: Direct from the Delta to Dartford and beyond, the Blues turned British rock on its head. The only direct comparison comes on the jazzy, flute-driven Leave It With Me, taking over where Ian Anderson left off after Dharma For On. iew Deal. 20. Robin Trower - Bridge Of Sighs (Chrysalis, 1974). Who would have thought that the backroom guitarist with the stately keyboards-led Procol Harum would become one of the great blues rock guitarists. Producer Vernon believes that Mayall never bettered that album. The energy that was created by that band when Eric was with them was special, he told writer John Pidgeon. We captured it on that one record. The chemistry was right. Bluesbreakers was the first blues album to chart in the UK, reaching N. in the summer of 1966.
