Mathias Delplanque est un artiste nantais né au Burkina Faso qui cultive des liens étroits avec les sphères de l'ambient, des musiques électroniques, électro-acoustiques et concrètes ainsi que du dub et du field recording. His approach is therefore intimately intertwined with the creation of sound.

He lives and works in Nantes (France). His work as a composer started in 1998 as he graduated from the Fine Arts School and decided to put an end to his sculpture activity to turn towards sound creation.
