ECDN session is a soundscape project based on a series of electroacoustic recordings made during Eniac's art residency at I-Park Foundation between November and December 2011, Connecticut (US). During the sessions Eniac played various instruments and environmental objects found in the neighborhood of the Foundation: The recording process includes echo, chorus, delay effects and the environmental noise. ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer) was the first general purpose computer. It was invented by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly. It was primarily designed, and used, to calculate artillery tables for the Army, it was also used to study the feasibility of thermonuclear bombs. It was octal based, rather than binary. EDVAC (Electronic Discrete Variable Automatic Computer) was the successor to ENIAC, was binary based, and used stored programs, and was also designed by Eckert and Mauchly

The line-up consisted of members Derek Taylor (vocals,guitars),Scott Stine (guitars),David Perry (bass),Rob Stankiewicz (drums) and Brett Stine (keyboards). The band released one album on Shrapnel Records,"Space Eternal Void" in 1998. Space Eternal Void is the debut and sole album from American progressive metal act Eniac Requium. The band only released this album and then split. Drummer Rob Stankiewicz is now the drummer in progressive metal band Thought Chamber.
