Bryce Neubert - Stories: A Musical Journey flac album

Journey is the self-titled debut album by the band of the same name. It was released in 1975 on Columbia Records. Unlike their later recordings, this is a jazzy progressive rock album which focuses mainly on the band's instrumental talents. It is the only album to include rhythm guitarist George Tickner among their personnel.

Tales of a Musical Journey" is written in a form of Chapters about Magical Kingdom of Sounds. From the very first chapter Mr. rina Gorin addresses physical aspect of ones' body posture at the piano as well as hands' position and the touch. She compares "graceful hands" gestures with the "whipping willow tree", upper body relaxation with "flying eagle", tone production with "jell-o", work on hands' transition from one octave to another with "rainbow", and arm weight with "swinging monkey". Children at this age are learning how to become attentive and patient in their studies. Following stories from "Tales of a Musical Journey", children are introduced to different types of notes, first as long and short sounds. Learning musical alphabet is given in a form of matching first letter of an animal name - "C" is for Cat, "D is for Dog etc. Children love playing such games.
