Incredible atmosphere and songwriting by these guys, they have it down on their first album. Every track works perfectly, even the 2 minute "Floating" does a great job in providing a spacey atmosphere

Cold is the debut studio album by American alternative metal band Cold. The album produced two singles: "Go Away" and "Give. Regarding the album's producer Ross Robinson, vocalist Scooter Ward stated "Ross is, to me, the best metal producer you can get. He just drags the heaviness out of everything, like with Slipknot. It’s amazing what he does. When you record with Ross one time, you gotta give it your all. You have to go off like you would onstage.

Originally released in 2006, The Great Cold Distance, Katatonia’s seventh studio album, was recorded and mixed at Fascination Street, Örebro Sweden, produced by Nyström/Renkse on and co-produced, mixed & engineered by Jens Bogren & David Castillo. The album featured 3 singles, now classic Katatonia songs – My Twin, July and Deliberation. The double gatefold LP version of the original album is set for release on 9th December, and includes the b-sides & bonus songs. Friday 21st October, at London’s 02 Shepherds Bush Empire, Katatonia will play their biggest UK headline show to date which will feature a very special 2 set performance. One set will see Katatonia perform ‘The Great Cold Distance’ in its entirety.
