Demi Lee Moore, Cape Town, Western Cape.

Arkansas native, Lee Moore moved to Memphis in 1975 with only one goal in mind: to make it big in the music industry and to release music that would be played in New York, . and everywhere in between. Even today, Moore’s music sounds ahead of its time. Lee Moore unfortunately never got close to reach his goals of fame and fortune. Finally, under the Divine moniker, we get an album that illustrates Lee’s transition to gospel funk and the last record ever to be released on Score Records. A Gram Of Boogie is the story of a lost hero of Memphis boogie, funk and disco. All records are faithfully reproduced and remastered.

Robert Lee Moore (November 14, 1882 – October 4, 1974) was an American mathematician who taught for many years at the University of Texas. He is known for his work in general topology, for the Moore method of teaching university mathematics, and for his poor treatment of African-American mathematics students. Although Moore's father was reared in New England and was of New England ancestry, he fought in the American Civil War on the side of the Confederacy
