La Mujer De Rojo (Selecciones De La Banda Sonora Original De La Pelicula) ‎(LP, Album, Gat). I understand that it was the '80's, different decade, different sounds, I get that. Stevie on this set sounded like he was trying hard to keep up, with very mixed results. The best songs on here are, "Love Light In Flight", "Weakness", "Don't Drive Drunk" and the monster hit, "I Just Called To Say I Love You", even though the last two mentioned at times can grow very stale. Sorry, Stevie, but the rest, I just couldn't hang. Reply See 1 reply Notify me Helpful.

The Woman in Red: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the second soundtrack album released by American musician Stevie Wonder on the Motown label. Also featuring Dionne Warwick, the album was released in 1984 for the film of the same name

Quentin Tarantino's soundtracks, like his films, are works of expert connoisseurship: pop-culture history lessons, assembled with a crate-digger's impeccable taste. Tarantino relies on selections from spaghetti Westerns, including the theme from 1966's exploitation classic Django (quite explicitly the inspiration for QT's titular character), '70s funk and pop, '60s exotica, heaps of quoted film scores, and a hefty dose of new songs that deftly tweak these very sounds.

I love Stevie, I really do, but this is where he started to really slide. I understand that it was the '80's, different decade, different sounds, I get that. What about Secret Life of Plants by Stevie? I am a sentimentalist about Stevie, believing I have to give him the benefit of the doubt because he has proven me wrong 95% of the time.
