Hedge & Donna - Evolution flac album

Hedge and Donna were an American folk and folk-rock duo comprising Keene Hedge Capers (born 1945, Princeton, New Jersey) and Donna Marie Carson (born 1946, McAlester, Oklahoma). They recorded six albums between 1968 and 1973.

Evolution is the first of two albums released in 1967 by British pop rock band the Hollies. The album peaked at number 13 in the UK album chart. Like its predecessor, For Certain Because, this album features only songs written by group members Allan Clarke, Graham Nash, and Tony Hicks

Formerly known as Hedge & Donna they had released 5 albums prior to this. Although a fine album with some quality singing and good songs, the direction was clearly more commercial than Hedge and Donna's earlier and folkier sound. Guava Jelly was to be a hit but the record pressing plant strike that year ruined that possibility and both artists definitely quit the music business.
