In 1995 Edyta Górniak released her 1st album "Dotyk", a tremendous sucess in her homeland selling over 1 million. It includes the Eurovision entry and a couple of new singles including the title track ) and the first international release came out in the fall of 1997, simply called Edyta Gorniak. Here is Edyta on her international breakthrough. Supported by the Polish production team Mathplanete, Edyta released the French single "Lunatique" (in 2005) and a year later "Sexuality" (2006). Both singles were a complete commercial flop and Edyta abandoned the club project and tried to come back to her original sound. One of the main reasons was the song You raise me up featuring the voices of Tracey Campbel-Nation and Brian Kennedy (who represented Ireland at the ESC in 2006).

The eponymous album sold more than 150,000 copies worldwide and was successful in Japan, South Africa, and Europe.
