The track is a good indication of the vantage point Wimps operate from. 2013’s Return saw Wimps introducing their take on sloppy and shambolic punk, occasionally throwing in proto New Wave charm and Post-punk rhythms when they saw fit. Suitcase doesn’t stray too far from that formula, but the song’s are tighter and the hooks are stronger.
