This is the fourth solo album from Billy Joe Walker, J. a country songwriter and guitarist who specializes, for himself, in light jazz-flavored instrumentals that sound just about like everything you hear pouring from light & easy-type stations. The guitar playing is light-fingered and supple, with efficient arrangements. The keyboards are unobtrusive.

Billy Joe Walker, Jr is a wonderful guitarist. It was a great 45 minutes listening to his music (actually a couple of times since also). Sadly, the 1994 follow-up to this album, LIFE IS GOOD, would be his last official solo studio recording. One person found this helpful.

Billy Joe Walker Jr. (February 29, 1952 – July 25, 2017) was an American songwriter, record producer and recording artist. He composed singles for Eddie Rabbitt, including "I Wanna Dance with You", "That's Why I Fell in Love with You" and "B-B-B-Burnin' Up with Love". He produced the first three albums of Bryan White, and for Pam Tillis, Collin Raye and Travis Tritt. He was also a session musician who played guitar. Between 1987 and 1994, he recorded seven New Age albums, all for major labels
