Christopher Walken is an American character actor whose career has spanned over 50 years with appearances in theater, film, and television. He has appeared in over 100 movies and television shows, including A View to a Kill, At Close Range, The Deer Hunter, King of New York, Batman Returns, Pulp Fiction, Sleepy Hollow, True Romance, and Catch Me If You Can, as well as music videos by recording artists such as Madonna and Fatboy Slim.

He returned to the New York stage and won the Drama Desk Award for his work in Lemon Sky in 1970. During this period he started getting more roles in movies, with a small part in the psychedelic Cleopatra (1970) and a more prominent role that got him noticed in the Anderson Tapes (1971). Walken continued to garner acclaim on the stage, winning an Obie for his performance in Joseph Papp's production of Kid Champion in 1975. An Inside the Actor's Studio production and an oral history where he talks about his Shakespeare Festival years, are among the archived interviews held in the collections at the Library for the Performing Arts.

Guru's Jazzmatazz, Vol. 2: The New Reality is the second studio album by American hip hop recording artist Guru. This second release to the Jazzmatazz series slightly toned down the jazz rap punch that made the first volume memorable. It was nevertheless critically acclaimed in its own right.

Walken, along with Wagner, were two of the three people on Wood and Wagner’s boat, the Splendour, when she was found dead on Nov. 29, 1981. He gave a curt quote to People magazine about Wood’s death in 1986: I don’t know what happened, Walken said. She slipped and fell in the water. It was a terrible thing. Look, we’re in a conversation I won’t have. The magazine noted that Walken snapped his response and that his eyes were icy. However, Walken opened up more in a 1997 interview with Playboy, theorizing how Wood ended up in the water.

Georgianne Leigh Walken (née Thon; born 1944) is an American casting director. Walken, along with casting partner Sheila Jaffe of Walken/Jaffe, has been the casting director for more than 80 television shows and movies since 1991, including The Sopranos and Entourage. Walken also had minor acting roles in a 2006 episode of The Sopranos, as well as Brainstorm, a 1983 movie starring her husband Christopher Walken and the late Natalie Wood.

It’s funny to have a stranger say to you, Here’s your ticket. Wow, you’ve got really good hair. I remember I was in Toronto and I went to the movies. And there was a young girl at the counter and she automatically gave me the senior discount. That hadn’t really happened before. You know, they’ll ask you sometimes, but she just gave it to me automatically.
