Françoise Hardy is the second studio album of the French popular singer Françoise Hardy, released in October 1963 on LP by French label Disques Vogue (FH 1). Like of Hardy's earlier album, the album was released with no title, except for her name on the cover, and this album colloquially become known by the title of its most successful song, "Le Premier Bonheur du jour" ("The First Joy of the Day").

Françoise Madeleine Hardy was born during an air raid in Nazi-occupied Paris in the winter of 1944, one of two illegitimate daughters to her single, working-class mother and wealthier merchant father. These circumstances, while less connected to her later life as a bellwether of style and pop music, are key to understanding her entrance onto the world stage as a hardworking teenybopper at age 16 in the early ’60s. In The Despair of Monkeys and Other Trifles, Hardy’s sardonically titled memoir out in English translation this spring, she explains that the tension between living on the fringes.

The Story series, with three separate volumes covering the period from 1962-1967, presents this immensely popular French chanteuse at her best. This first volume, which features 20 songs, is perhaps the most innocuous of the lot, which isn't to say it isn't good. Her 1962 single "Le Temps De L'Amour" is perhaps her best recording, featuring snaky spy guitars and a minor-key melody in an unlikely but wonderful marriage of early-'60s rock and a film-noirish atmosphere.

Françoise Hardy is a 1965 studio album by French pop singer Françoise Hardy. It was released in France in November 1965, on LP Disques Vogue (FH 3). Like many of Hardy's earlier albums, it was released with no title, except for her name on the cover but this album has therefore colloquially become known by the title of its most successful song, "L’Amitié" ("The Friendship"). Hardy is accompanied by the Charles Blackwell orchestra. Except as noted, lyrics and music were written by her.

Françoise Madeleine Hardy (French: ; born 17 January 1944) is a French singer-songwriter. She made her musical debut in the early 1960s on Disques Vogue and found immediate success with her song "Tous les garçons et les filles"  .

Françoise Hardy signed her first contract with the record label Vogue in November 1961. In April 1962, shortly after finishing school, her first album, "Oh oh Chéri", appeared, with the title song written by Johnny Hallyday's writing duo. The flip side of the record, "Tous les garçons et les filles" became a huge success, which sold 2 million copies.
