Low Budget is the seventeenth studio album by the English rock group, The Kinks, released in 1979. Following the minor success of their 1978 album Misfits, the band recorded the majority of the album in New York rather than London. Unlike the more nostalgic themes of many Kinks albums prior to Low Budget, the album contains many songs that appeal to current events of the time.

A 28-track hip-hop album of exclusive Madlib collabos w/ . Guilty Simpson, MED, Oh No, Strong Arm Steady and others. Karriem Riggins pops in for a Supreme Team session, Madlib & Oh No debut The Professionals, and we hear a Jaylib-era track from their never-realized second album. Low Budget High Fi also contains. Low Budget High Fi also contains several Loop Digga instrumentals and of course interludes, outerludes and probably quaaludes.

Inspired by Jazz Cats P. , a track off of Madlib’s The Unseen, released in 2000 under the alter-ego of the konducta himself Quasimoto . Bar after bar, Quasimoto drops names of legendary jazz musician’s and record labels of that time, confessing his love for jazz music. There’s plenty more that I could name but y’all won’t put them to us. .one of the last lines that Quasimoto spits. Imagining what a the album artwork of a new Madlib project could look like.
