Lazarus 'Leo' Fuld (Yiddish: לעאָ פֿולד; Rotterdam, October 29, 1912 – Amsterdam, June 10, 1997) was a Dutch singer who specialised in Yiddish songs. His career after the war once again made his name popular throughout the world, and on the most prestigious night club and concert stages.

Lazarus 'Leo' Fuld (Rotterdam, October 29, 1912 – Amsterdam, June 10, 1997) was a Dutch singer who specialised in Yiddish songs. Leo Fuld was born as the third of ten children and grew up in a poor Jewish family. His father, Louis Fuld, was a merchant. Fuld's talent for singing showed at early age during services at the synagogue. Fuld was a good student and was given a scholarship at the Dutch Jewish Seminar.

Known as the last performer of Yiddish popular ballads, singer-songwriter Fuld was born into a large family. His remarkable voice was discovered when he attended the Amsterdam Jewish Seminary and he travelled all over the country to serve as cantor for Jewish congregations on the Sabbath. When he was 18 he performed for the BBC in London, and in 1938 starred on Broadway in New York. One of his first hits was called ‘Where Can I Go’, and also enjoyed great success throughout the world with ‘My Yiddishe Momma’, ‘Dos Pintele Yid’, ‘Mein Shtetele’, and many more.
