Funkapolitan were an early 80s 8-piece funk band from London, England. They released three singles on London Records, 'As the time goes by' (a number 41 hit), 'In the crime of life' and 'Run run run'. Their self-titled album was produced by August Darnell (aka Kid Creole). Bassist Tom Dixon is now head of design at Habitat. Trivia: Supported The Clash on their US Tour in 1981.
